Transparency

Umoja values every donation we receive, and we strive to implement our funds as efficiently as possible. The majority of the money we accept is used to help children/ youth with intellectual difficulties in Hai district in Tanzania. Less than 10% is spent on our operational costs. Umoja is an international organization registered in Tanzania as a Non-Governmental Organization. By virtue of its constitution, Umoja is a non-profit organization. We regularly submit reports to the Tanzanian Social Welfare Department and the Belgium government which monitors the activities of the organization.
